These are the days that many whites in North Carolina would like to return to.Lots of Industries and Northen Folk migrate to North Carolina with certainty that they can replace black employment, for cheaper labor and out of disdaint for blacks in general.
Arauco is simular to a slave field, the whites here actually treat black workers like slaves. An African man who work at the Moncure Plant, reported to me that some white co-workers made gestures of whipping him and refered to him as a slave, then laughed. Wayne Michealouski, John Bevins, and Marc Kemic, all will terminate a black without just cause.
Duke University's Management, of Building Maintenance Operations, condone racist acts by white supremist such as Mike Lane, Tim Young, and many other white supremist, these gentalmen, see blacks as apethedic, and have problems hiring black, these gentalmen shead a bad light on duke university. I can say that I believe that Duke covered up the Crystal Mnagum Rape. I cantend that the black girl was raped by those white students and Duke condoned it.
Tyco, Covidian take a totally different approach, they employ white racist Northerners, who are good for stereotyping blacks, This is the Northern white that is underedcated, but articulate. These white men are conformist. These white men are hated by Southern whites, but the intern hate blacks. These are they type white supremist who consider blacks apthedic.Yet they are hired on as supervisors because they have no problem firing a black. Bob Bosley is this such racist. He is Maintencnce for Covidian over Facilities.
Wake Tech Community College, much like North Carolina State University. Still operate under the "good ole boy racist " white supremist system. Being an entity of the state of North Carolina this institution is also condoned for overt racist priactices when it come to employing blacks on high end, Building Maintenances Operation jobs. A undereducated white good ole boy named Rob Benton is the Maintenance Manager here, Rob is much like the good ole boys Garden Freeman and Allen Boyett and Jack Colby, who would never work for a black man.
North Carolina Stae University is the most racist institutional entity in North Carolian. The good ole boy system is thriving on this campus. Employment for blacks at North Carolina State is high. But, the positions that blacks hold in the Blue Collard sector is disproportionate dominated by undereducated whites. The Building Maintenance Operations sector of Noth Carolina State didn't even consider hiring blacks until the late 80's. All white men occupy all management positions with the BMO departments. Jack Colby, Allen Boyett, Garden Freeman, all devout white supremist.
The Auction Block was a place where Blacks were sold into labor, North Carolina had the Market House in Fayettville.
The old South when the lador force consisted of more Blacks than any other race. The Southern states benefited finanically from free labor. Right-to Work States were not needed, yet many stratagies are used today in Right to-Work States to keep blacks unemployed!
Does racial discrimination exist, in the employment arena, in North Carolina?
Yes: most certainly, and mainly against black men.
North Carolina is a “Right to Work State, as well as an “At Will” state. White bosses, know this,
The history of the so-called “At Will and Right to Work Statues” began in 1947 it was a Republican-controlled Congress which passed the federal Taft-Hartley Act (also known as the Labor-Management Relations Act). This law amended the 1935 National Labor Relations Act so that closed shops—businesses in which every employee was required to be part of the union and pay dues—were no longer legal. This left individual states free to pass laws that prohibited requiring employees in a unionized business to pay dues. These laws are known as right-to-work laws.
The right-to-work slogan originates from a the US Supreme Court ruling Dent v. West Virginia stating that Americans had a fundamental right to pursue an occupation of their choice. The Supreme Court forbid state legislatures from depriving or regulating people's particular occupation. Later, a newspaper editor from Texas named William B. Ruggles who was anti-union reinterpreted the term to mean the right to work in a unionized business without paying dues. (Ruggles has since become something of a folk hero for the right-to-work movement. There's even a scholarship named after him at the anti-union National Institute for Labor Relations Research.) Today in the current political arena the Right to Work Law is being uses as a catalyst to disenfranchise black males and practically bar many black men from actually maintain gainful employment. The Blue collar sector, abuse the right to work law; using their position in the blue collared sector as a supervisor to impose the Right to Work Law as a legitimate reason to fire a black man, knowing that they will not be held accountable for firing or not hiring a black man for no good reason. The white supervisors in many instances will actually administer it as a privilege to accommodate under qualified white workers who may be a friend or contemporarys, by displacing black qualified workers with under-achieving white employees. Temp staffing have been accepted in North Carolina in the past 20 years, at an alarming rate, which are majority white owned. In many instances these Temp agencies are more so a cushion for the black man, when he is let go by a permanent employer. Another dynamic that has been prevalent concerning black employment in North Carolina as well is the migration of white Northerners; this dynamic is another factor that creates disparaging precepts on black employment in North Carolina. Often, the number of white men who migrate from the North to the South are overwhelming under-educated, more-so than educated white men who have great levels of success, in Northern States, and see no logical reason, financial or “what-have-you” to leave the Northern States for Southern living. So now the influx of under-educated, blue collared, white men, whose only real asset is their articulate way of communicating their efforts as opposed to the Southern white man, who lack articulate mannerisms. Nonetheless, the Right to Work Law; although originally put in place to protect workers from being coerced unwilling to join unions and pay dues, has now evolved in to a catalyst and a haven for the most unconstitutional racist discriminating dynamic ever perpetrated on a free working society.
The Right to Work Law needs to be, essentially reexamined, and maybe even repealed. The law has been abused to the extent that it has breached defamation of character, paradigms. Not only has the current existence of this law have disenfranchised many black male employees in North Carolina, but it has created and increased impoverishment with in the back race that is practically unsustainable. Compare the numbers;
Feb 2, 2012, the unemployment rate for blacks was 17.2 percent in North Carolina, nearly twice the 8.6 rate for white North Carolinians, and higher. There has to certainly be a criminal component to maintaining these numbers. One could argue that; the abuse of Right to Work law has indeed poses as an obstructionist agenda against fair employment, not to mention on fair living conditions for black men and their families.
Have I ever personally experienced racial discrimination, by an employer in North Carolina?
Yes, most certainly.
I can take you back to 2008, when I was hired and employed as Electrician II, with North Carolina State University BMO (Building Maintenance Operations). I was fired from this job resulting from a lie that a white co-worker told on me. Martin Chioga lied and told James Linsey the Maintenance Supervisor that I had pushed him. This is where the lie began. All of the white administrative folk jumped completely to Martins defense. Even head of Human Resources, whom I thought was a fair person initially, Marc Okner. James Linsey suggested that Martin report me to the campus police. I was told to “get the hell out of my shop” by the Superintendent Garden Freeman, who is James Linsey’s boss. Allen Boyett and Jack Colbey are Garden Freeman’s bosses. At that I went to Human Resources to take my grievance to Marc Okner, thinking that I would get fairness on the matter. It turned out that Marc Okner was just as racist as the other white folk. The white men is this matter, used the black women in administrative roles to warrant their racist motives. These white men would each time call a black lady from the admin department to kind-of cover for them, Viki Porter, was one, she never really knew what she was being put into, also, Joanne Woodard, who again who was given the role as EEOC Administrator, and cover the racist agenda of the good-ole white boys agenda at North Carolina State. I was terminated by this white lynch mob, simply for being black and outspoken. Martin Chioga, whom I have worked with for 3 ½ years, is a conscious racist, he constantly resort to obvert racial epithets when even discussing blacks. Martin was from Pennsylvania and would often boast about the town he was from and their not being populated with blacks. James Linsey, much like Martin was from Pennsylvania, a small town which didn’t have many blacks as well, also an obvert racist, James would always contradict the credibility of black Tradesmen and blue collared workers, also, like Martin James view of blacks are that they could never lead in the employment sector. I worked for James 3 ½ years. Garden Freeman, harbor a Bladen disdain for blacks, one would wonder did North Carolina State Human Resources Department thoroughly vet this man before they put him in a position over black workers. Once Garden Freeman and James Lindsey held me in a meeting just us three, I angered Garden and as we exited the meeting Garden “out of anger” referred to me as a “nigger”, when confronted by me as to what did you call me, he just look at me angrily and walked away, and James clearly heard him say it. Jack Colby and Allen Boyett are garden’s boss, they are fully aware of Gardens hatred for blacks yet they chose to condone it. Marc Okner refer to himself as a Jew, he uses it to project himself as neutral, yet he condoned the racial aspect of the matter which lead to my being wrongfully terminated. Viki Porter is to be an example, a quote, unquote credit to her race, one who is put in place to project that it is some good blacks who don’t project that there is racial discrimination within this “Good Ole Boy’s firing of bad black men’s network”.
Obvert Racial Discrimination is interwoven deep in tradition at this Institution. I can recall an incident when someone smeared bold racial epithets on a wall of the so-called Expression Tunnel: this is an actual tunnel, and this tunnel has large walls. In this Tunnel the students are free to express themselves, by writing any of their thoughts on the walls of the tunnel; a way of sharing your thoughts. None the less, this was during the time when the country was beginning to elect the first Black President of the United States 2008. Someone wrote on the wall of the Expression Tunnel “racial slurs which threatened the president” the reaction of the students concerning the incident was more aggressive that that even of the Chancellor of the University Randy Woodson and other University officials, there were even pandering remarks made by the administration, as to project that the racist who wrote the epithets were afforded the rights to do so. In a statement given by Woodson and Warick Arden of the University which is construed to say, what was wrong with what was written on the wall””??
Chancellor Randy Woodson, who has decried the graffiti, and other university leaders spoke with a couple students who protested at the tunnel Thursday morning. Other students and staff were passing freely through it.
"We're going to try to give the students a voice," Woodson said. "We'll just try to make sure everyone's safe and try to make sure that they have an opportunity to voice their opinions."
Provost Warwick A. Arden met with two students and discussed diversity and how to get students talking honestly about racial issues.
The Free Expression Tunnel is "a reflection of our university, so we have to be more thoughtful and maybe encourage our students to be more thoughtful in messages that are left there," Woodson said.
N.C. State students are allowed to paint the Free Expression Tunnel with images and words commenting on any issue. The tunnel is also a major thoroughfare through campus.
Racist speech in the tunnel became an issue after graffiti threatening violence against Obama was spray painted the night he was elected in November 2008. The incident prompted the University of North Carolina System to adopt a policy prohibiting actions defined by federal and state laws as hate crimes.
A sign posted at the tunnel asks students to "refrain from offensive and hateful messages."
Woodson’s promise to “give the students a voice” only suggests that he and other university administrations condone the effect of racism.
“We will try to make sure that everyone is safe” only suggest that if there will be any repercussions resulting from the epithet, then the persons responsible for them will not be attacked by the black students who protest it in mass numbers. Also, “make sure that they have the opportunity to voice their opinion”, suggest that the person or persons who are responsible for writing the epithets are protected by free speech, no matter how derogatory the speech is, even if it hurt or threaten black alumni or even the black President. And Provost Warick Arden in his attempt to try to breech common ground on the issue only fueled the issue. The black kids are already speaking honestly on the issue, by gathering around it.
Student protesters said they want more action by university authorities to prevent hate speech.
"I want the Free Expression Tunnel to stay open for students to use to express themselves, but for this to happen again – I want really to feel now that something has to be done to stop these actions," said N.C. State junior Kelvin Carter, who organized the protest.
(This young man Kelvin Carter is appealing to these racist good ole boys, yet, they are still sticking to the fact that the freedom of white racism against black at North Carolina State University will always go unchallenged, when the racism is perpetrated towards Blacks particular.)
Carter said that students were holding forums to gather opinions on what actions could be taken.
"We have the thoughts of having more surveillance cameras and people thinking about just shutting down the Free Expression Tunnel completely," he said. "Some people want guidelines (that) if you do write something (that's hate speech), then there’s a penalty to what you write."
(Still Mr Carter is trying to appeal to these racist Good Ole boys, to no avail.)
Bonds said that graffiti demeaning many different groups is common in the tunnel.
"It's free expression, but nobody is walking through, regulating it," she said. "They're just letting it happen, and it's not just racism, but gender, sexuality and religious discrimination."
(This Bonds individual is trying to relate the issue with common every day, ordinary occurrences.)
Woodson said that it would be impossible to guarantee that no offensive or hateful messages might be painted in the Free Expression Tunnel. Dialogue, not policy changes, is key to preventing offensive speech, he said.
(Woodson again is only trying to appeal to the white racist supremacy agenda, he’s not advocating indictment or even considering it a “Hate Crime” he want the black alumni to believe that the matter can be resolved without criminalizing white extremist, yet, Woodson offer no real resolution to end this type of unwarranted, derogatory behavior, perpetrated on black kids by white extremist kids.)
"All we can do is create an environment, create a climate where this is brought to the light of day and discussed," he said. "But can we stop it? No. And would the law allow us to stop it? No. But does it reflect what we stand for? Absolutely not."
(Well Mr. Woodson, if you say that It can’t be stopped, but you will not stand for it, you got to be lying to our black kids, about one or the other, especially when the kids actually offered you the most viable solution, that you install cameras.)
N.C. State sophomore Shaneice Mitchell agreed that students need to take responsibility for the messages left in the tunnel.
"We're scholars, so we need to know – and we should know – how to act when it comes to expressing our views," Mitchell said.
Back to my personal experiences, and these racially motivated institutions here in North Carolina, North Carolina State University cost the African American Race Billions of dollars each year, by refusing entrance, over-looking racist agendas, firing black fathers from employment, withholding moderate salaries from black workers.
I have to conclude through my personal experiences, that the State of North Carolina will forever be indebted to Blacks, as aggrandizement of holding blacks down, financially, position wise, not dispersing federal resources to black communities, holding moderate income positions, is a huge reason. For example, I am a Maintenance Technician by trade, and have well over 20 years, in the field, yet I have been fired from North Carolina State University, Wake Tech Community College, Duke University, Covidian and Aracuo Paneling, all by white men. Not any of these white men who fired me held any degrees, certification, or experiences in the field remotely close to what I have. I hold an Electrical Licenses, I hold and CFC Certification, I have an Associate Diploma, from Junior College. I prepared myself for a career in Facilities and Industrials Maintenance. I was fired from all of these jobs, in a span of 2 years. Nonetheless, the Right to Work Law afford these white Good ole boys these privileges.
I worked for Trade-Co Tradesman Staffing; I got the job here through 2 white guys that I had worked for prior to becoming project managers for Trade-Co. Larry Hudson and Mike Price. Larry and Mike were 2 pretty fair white guys, Larry would fine projects to send me on frequently, and they would work out well for me, Larry was a fair intention white guy. Unlike Mike, who had sublimed reservations about black tradesmen? Mike would have second thoughts about sending black tradesmen to certain contractors, also mike would not make curtained that black tradesmen the money that he would assure white tradesmen. Mike shared the same ideology as white folk such as Garden Freeman and James Linsey, that black tradesmen are apathetic in comparison to white maintenance men. Larry referred me to a job at CREE in RTP the duties were to install some electrical equipment in a clean room area, I installed the equipment, and I started to feel that Rick the guy over the Electrical Crew for Bobby Wilson’s Electric, would question my work, and my abilities to do the installations, I mean I am a licensed Electrician and Rick wasn’t he was just a white guy given the position again through the Good ole boy system. Now this crew did have one black guy, who worked for them, as a person that they would use as justification for firing blacks. I went in to work one day and rick changed my assignment, he asked to go across the street to another site, when I got there the guy there said that he didn’t need me, I was without a job, after which I have given a 2 weeks’ notice on my prior job to go to this job. Now I am out of both jobs. These white ran companies keep blacks relying on Temp agencies to further their racist agenda, on keeping black controlled in the workforce. These tactics are no more than to sustain a high unemployment rate in the black race, and no white company will be held accountable for it.
I was fired from Wake Technical Community College, because a white boy feared that I would become his supervisor. I use to hear how the white boys in Maintenance speak of blacks, and how they felt about their being in authority. Example, Lee Bullock who is over maintenance at Wake Tech Campus in North Raleigh, the white Maintenance Manager Rob of the Main Campus never liked him, and was vocal of his disdain for Lee. Rob had problems with blacks in maintenance is all areas whether it be authority positions or just regular maintenance. Rob would always dispute black maintenance men qualifications, but would trust anything a white maintenance person would suggest. The lighting project that I proposed was one example of this. Taylor Anderson was a white maintenance person, who, was under qualified, and was given the position because of the privileged good ole boys hiring system. Taylor has nothing more than a CFC Certification, nothing in comparison to my maintenance accolades. The day before my staffing agency manager met me on the job to tell me that my job ended, Taylor Anderson approached me about some lighting that I was working on, when I explained to Taylor, that I have forgotten to turn the lights on before I had left the night, he just stated cussing me saying “hell well you just go the fuck home then”, that next morning I got to work about 6:00 am I was let go.
I was fired from Duke University, in May 2012. I signed a letter of intention to work for duke University at $20.00 as a Licensed Electrician in the electrical shop. I thought that I was accepted by these white guys, but I should have realized that these white guys are no different than the white guys that I worked with in the pass. Of course just as most other pass jobs; there was a black guy in this shop. And, just as all others, the white good ole boys improvised the divide and conquer strategy this job lasted right at 90 days; just as the others I was a planned termination. The white boys will discuss you among themselves for the duration that you are there, then they will all agree to fire you, normally one or more of them will miss that day of work, signaling that they didn’t want to have anything to do with you being fired but they knew of it just like the ones that come to work just to fire you. This day Wade the black guy stayed out of work, he knew that Tim Young had planned to fire me. Again, it was never clear to me why I was being fired; they don’t have to give you a reason, thanks to the Right to Work Law. Many times white men just hate working with black men. And they fire you because they don’t like blacks at all. While, it is not President Obama’s fault that this dynamic occur that cause black men to be fired for reasons of white hate, the sense of vindication, because of having to live under the country’s leadership of a black president he white racist vindication is more detriment. The actions of racist white men in employment leadership roles has Resulted in high unemployment rate of blacks. Tim Young is a middle aged white man, who tend to have some mixture in his racial lineage, Tim is much like Mike Lane who is racist, and mask it very well, Mike Lane is a prime example of that old southern white who hole a deep condescension for blacks. Mike Lane doesn’t feel that blacks can be maintenance tradesmen, Mike Lane believe that blacks have quote. Unquote; “small brains”. Tim Young admire Mike Lane, Tim young has no maintenance experience, he’s very incompetent as far as being a maintenance supervisor, he lack evaluating experience, his only achievement is that he is a privileged white “good ole boy”, who was given the position because he was just that, Tim does hold an Electrical Licenses, but then again so do I but I also hold a Junior College Degree.
I was hired at Covidian Pharmaceuticals 880 Durant Rd. I was given $25.00 an hour, there were 2 positions available. The 2 positions were to be filled as permanent jobs. Bob Bosley, was the Maintenance manager for facilities, Bobs Boss was also a white guy with a nasty demeanor which he was bold to project in the company of black maintenance personnel; both were white northerners. Bob boss made the statement projecting that he didn’t want an old scissor lift that had been with the plant for years, he waited till he was in my presence and admonished Bob about the existence of the old lift, he look right in my eyes and surely yelled at bob “get rid of that monstrosity” knowing he was subconsciously setting the tone for bob to fire that black maintenance man, firstly, how these companies get away with hiring little or no black in their Maintenance department in the first place is racist and unfair as far as I am concerned. The old colloquium “we hire the most qualified is just malarkey” Bob was trying to get a junior college degree while holding the position of Maintenance Manager for Facilities, I have a junior college degree, licensed and over 20 years in maintenance, not to mention CFC Certification, whites can’t use that when it pertain to me. I know that I wasn’t accepted in that maintenance department at Covidian from the onset. The white guy Tom Conquis was hire permanent while I remained on a staffing agency status; here again I had more proven and documented experience that Tom, but tom was white. These guys had arranged my termination, by pitting me against a Mexican Herbie Alimigo, who was being held by the Mexican Plant Manager. White ploys and racist plots has to be criminal, in that it effect the black employment standards badly in America. EEOC the NAACP and all other Organizations are doing nothing to combat this, poor blacks are suffering, more from joblessness that any other race in America, and the biggest problem resulting from this is that the black race is so passive to racist white supremacy that is goes un-checked. Black poverty is real, and growing throughout the country. Hispanics and Latinos aren’t concerned with black poverty, so when the center for poverty project black poverty it is very disingenuous for the stats to always include groups other than blacks. Black poverty is white Americas fault. When I was fired from Covidian, it was even ironic to me; I was never given a clear reason, just as when the past white racist Maintenance Managers fired me; Bob returned from a weekend of dealing with family matters, which had nothing to do with me, nonetheless, my employment. Bod exclaimed “look I was spending time with my sick mother out of anger, I was getting about 90 phone calls about you all weekend, you almost hurt a co-worker, and you left early, none of this was true of course, when I asked Bob who was saying these things he had no answer.
My assessment of Bob is just like other under-achieving northern white racist he resorted to the Right to Work law, and he fired me, with actually no intention of hiring me permanent in the first place. Bob Bosley, was certainly undeserving of a maintenance manager’s position, Bob is very articulate a “word-smith a perfectionist” all of these attributes to place him in a position of leadership in a southern state. Bob hate southern whites because they hate his northern heritage, Jamie another white southern co-worker, is an example of a true southerner who know without a doubt that Bob Bosley is a liar. Bob is actually holding Maintenance Managers Position while trying to get a Junior College Degree, I have one, Roy is Bob’s boss who hates blacks as well, but Roy is condescending with his hatred for blacks. Bob like all northerners who migrate to the south with nothing more than lies and embellish of their previous employment role and qualifications, to obtain employment over unsuspecting whites who lack articulate and coherent educational essentials, to hold maintenance manager positions. Certain Northern white, undereducated, articulate men who were more than likely without creditability in their home cities, has migrated here to North Carolina to flaunt that they dominated in the Civil War.
I was fired from Arauco Panel LLC September 2012. When I was hire here, I was offered a position as a plant Electrician, it all changed in the interview. I was given an interview by Wayne Michealoski, John Bevins, and Terry Snells. John Bevins was Maintenance Manager at the MDF Plant, Wayne Michealoski was Human Resources at the MDF Plant, and Marc Kemenk who is Waynes boss. Arauco is a plant in Moncure North Carolina, the plant is based in Canada, and Chilli. This particular plant in Moncure North Carolina is ran mainly by white undereducated “Good Ole Boys”. John Bevins is unstable, he goes from job to job, and he has no evaluating skills that would make him incompetent to be a manager over any department of employment. Wayne Michealoski has a education, however he has no maintenance savvy, nor does he understand any maintenance personnel’s duties or task. Given all in account these two white guys, had no business in any position to hire or fire any worker. Folk White men like Wayne Michaeloski, John Bevins, or Marc Kemeck should be barred from any positions that would oversee any black man.
White employers when confronted with the question: Why haven’t you hired any blacks in you maintenance department? Their answer would more than not be: “We hire who we think is more qualified”, not because he is black or white! This is the huge lie, here in North Carolina. I have worked with white guys in several maintenance departments, who didn’t know anything about maintenance, safety, or even simple installation principles, nonetheless maintenance applications concerning safety of equipment maintenance in general. These white guys really didn’t have to, one example, Jammie of Covidian, James Lagroin of Johnson Controls, Taylor Anderson of Johnson Controls, Dexter of Covidian, Mike Brooks of Covidian, JC Maye of North Carolina State Maintenance, James Linsey. Maintenance jobs starting pay for the most part in North Carolina is from $20.00 an hour to $30.00 and hour, white men make up over 85% of all maintenance jobs in North Carolina. Many of these white men are under-educated, uncertified, lack ingenuity skills, and do not like to do the manual labor of the installation of equipment. So much money is wasted on these folk that it is disheartening to see that these folk work over 8 hours on a job and get paid for nothing, when the manual labor work force who make less money and more committed are black. This is the setting of all industries in North Carolina.
Does racial discrimination against black men by white men in North Carolina affect black households and communities?
Yes, most certainly,
Come to North Carolina, I’ll give you an example of how the employment hiring process work here in North Carolina, here it is: Let’s say a black couple relocates to North Carolina from the Northern part of the country, verses a white couple from the same part of the country. With both couples, the men hold Associate degrees, in Electrical Installation & Maintenance, “blue collared” I use this as an example, because the job deficit mostly effect this group; ok, the men from the 2 couples apply for state jobs, with the state of North Carolina, there are 2 positions available, 1 position is for an Electrician 2 and the other position is a position for an Electrician 2, the only difference in the 2 positions is one position requires that the Electrician work for 6 months, then he will be promoted to supervisor, because the Electrician 2 on this position will be retiring and he was to take the supervisor’s position. The next Electrician 2 position will require that the Electrician 2 remain in that position until a maintenance mechanic position become available and no one else in the shop have the degree for the position or to be promoted as supervisor in the department. The men of the 2 couples hold the hold these credentials, an interview Is granted to these 2 men, in the interview the white man is told about the Electrician 2 position that would later be promoted to supervisor, white in the interview with the black man he is told of the position that would allow him the chance to be moved to maintenance mechanic once a position is available. The 2 men begin on their new jobs, from time to time they see each other in passing, hey speak about their jobs. Six months into the jobs, the black man find that the white man is now supervisor, and is now making $68,000a year, when they both started off as Electrician 2 which was at a pay scale of $40,000 a year. The black man sees this as an issue, and file a grievance with EEOC, the findings of EEOC is unfavorable to the black man, latter the black man is fired.
Was it right to fire the Blackman? No, but this being a so-called Right to Work State it goes unchallenged, and the white man gets away with violating a black man civil rights here in North Carolina.
Now if it was the other way around, WRAL news would report it as reverse discrimination, just as they did just recently for a white man that filed a grievance. Walk this many highly concentrated black neighborhoods here in the Capitol city of North Carolina, you will find a tightly woven community of folk who only try to adhere to the policies that are put forth by the state, folk who adhere to city and local government, all the while maintaining an established livelihood on meager incomes or any financial resources, that they can get, folk who work every day but a paycheck away from losing everything. Many Black folk has never had an income of even $18.00 an hour in Raleigh North Carolina, yet they have lived honest, hard-working livelihoods, white many whites who are blue collared enjoy $18 to $25 dollars an hour on positions in the same industry. Healthcare for black community lack gravity, in communities where it is reported that are inflicted my most of the life threatening diseases, more-so than whites, healthcare is diminished due to lack of a moderate job income. A personal experience for me was that my son had cancer, and the good thing is my wife’s job has held her for a long tenure in spite of the fact that lots of employers here in North Carolina are firing blacks or making it hard for blacks to maintain employment to vendicate Obama being elected, as a black man to run the country. The mind set of many administrative white folk over blue collared employment labor organizations is that “ if Obama is so smart then why don’t he get these black folk better paying jobs”? The white agenda is fueled with negative projections for Black working folk moving forward.
Systematic Racial Discrimination has victimized black men in the Maintenance field in North Carolina for decades, I filing with EEOC, Department of Justice, National Labor Relations Board,
The petition is graphed is effort to end obvert racial discrimination, when it comes to hiring, employing, and Terminating, black men. North Carolina, a Right-to-Work state meaning that an employer can terminate you at will. The down side to this is that; since America has elected a man of color to lead the country, black folk are suffering in the employment arena particularly in the Right-to-Work states. North Carolina employs more whites in management positions that are responsible for hiring and firing than many southern states. North Carolina is also a Red State, I could contend that North Carolina consists of tenants who do not like the current leader of the country, and out of some sort of vengeance will fire a black man or black woman, out of contention of this black leader. Sign this petition if you have been affected as a result of these obvert practices in the past 5 years. A copy of this petition will be forwarded to the president of the United States, and to the National Labor Relations Board, The Department of Defense, The EEOC, and the Bar Association.
